how does one edit a .txd file??

I bought the lastest austrlaian PcPowerPlay mag, and it had the drakan nude patch on it. the guy that made it edited the system.txd file, but i am wondering how it was done, and with what? any help would be appreciated, thanks

These people that do that kind of stuff do it themself. They do alot of research to find out where the textures is located. Then the try to open the file in alot of paint programs. If that failes (it do in most cases), they try to crack to file themself. They make a paint program that can change the texture.

My point: I think it''s wide out of your range to edit the datafiles for a game. These guys are experts.

But i don''t know what drakan is. Try to check if their creater have realesed some kind of texture editor (if true, then forget everything I sayed before), or check if a friendly cracker have realesed hes own homemad texture editor.
