Being able to see who up/downvoted post

Well, I am not sure if I am the last person on earth to notice this, but today I just learned I can click on the score number beneath a post and see a list of users who upvoted and downvoted.

Is this intended behaviour? It seems to be a great way to encourage rage downvotes and sympathy upvotes...

this is a benefit to any member with a + next to their title, which includes all crossbones, and gd premium members. so, with that in mind, it means that people who do go on rage voting are established members, or those whom have paid money for the feature. it is unlikely someone would become an established member(1000+ rep), and then abuse the system against someone they might not like, or might disagree with. the same can be said with premium members whom have put something into the site. is the possibility there? yes, but it's been a feature for a long time, and even a rage spree from a single member doesn't do much damage to a users score.

Ok, that clears it up

It also means that as a trusted member, you can spot when others go on down-vote rampages, and you can choose to negate them if you feel like it.

This is an interesting point. I wonder how often this happens. I have on a number of occasions in the past upvoted a post not because I thought it was god, but because I felt it had been downvoted unnecessarily. I never considered looking at who downvoted it and checking if they'd gone on a down-vote rampage against the poster.
