Say I have vertex & index data in triangle list format,are there any libs to convert it to triangle strip?
Can it be done with assimp?

There's a thread about this here, I dunno if that will help.
But as it mentions, indexed triangle lists are generally more efficient than triangle strips. What's the reason you want to do this?

I guess it just feels a little weird to have both.Not to mention that I can't figure out if there's a way to find the topology time without the user explicitely telling you the type.
