Hey guys, I'm part of Incubator Games, a small development studio from Toronto, and I'd love for you to check out our upcoming iOS puzzle game: Feeding Time.

On a *slightly* less self-promotional note, we also plan on updating our website with more dev-related posts (like this one: http://www.incubatorgames.com/index.php/20131125/feeding-time/) that some of you might find useful, so feel free to check out http://www.incubatorgames.com/ as well!

Cheers

Love the graphics and even if it's a match three, I can see a new variant in the gameplay.

What engine did you use?

Thanks, we definitely wanted something different than a typical match-3, which is why we went with a more unusual gameboard.

Engine-wise we used an old version of Unity to make potential porting easier, but we wrote our own renderer to optimize the 2D graphics, do proper tweening, animations, etc. From what I gather the newer versions of Unity are starting to use the 3D base for 2D rendering, but we're still using our own custom code for that.
