Great, the trolls are in... Look mate, if you have nothing decent to say then I'd prefer you don't troll the discussion. (I'd counter by asking where I am breaking the law but that would be feeding the troll. No laws have been or will be broken).

Thanks to everyone else's suggestions. You have given me alot to think about. I am tending towards zero copy protection now and putting all of my efforts into refining my lib and setting up support for it.
