Hey guys I have a little question. I have a 256*256 texture for my indirect lighting and want to combine it with the full res rendering (1920*1080) that it looks okay. I tried to use a 3x3 gausian Blur but it still looks horrible. Here is the picture with the diffuse light + indirect Light*diffuse texture:

You'll need to use some kind of filter which takes the depth differences in account. I'm not sure if a texture of 256^2 is good enough for the full resolution.

Look into "bilateral upsampling" for example and or mixed resolution rendering.

Cheers!
