Hello everyone, so the code that I have below opens on a word document, everything looks fine, except that the javascript part is not showing idk why, if you open it on a browser by removing those 2 hearders at the top the javascripts works, which shows the current date, but on the word document it doesn't show, anybody knows how to fix this?

<?php
header("Content-type: application/vnd.ms-word");
header("Content-Disposition: attachment;Filename=document_name.doc");   ?>

  <html>

<head>

 <script language="JavaScript">

function mdy(todaysdate) {
//calls the function mdy why to get our date
         var month = new Array();
    month[0] = "January";
    month[1] = "February";
    month[2] = "March";
    month[3] = "April";
    month[4] = "May";
    month[5] = "June";
    month[6] = "July";
    month[7] = "August";
    month[8] = "September";
    month[9] = "October";
    month[10] = "November";
    month[11] = "December";

    var d = new Date();
    var n = month[d.getMonth()];

return n+" "+todaysdate.getDate()+", "+todaysdate.getFullYear()

}

If you have a solution, at least be kind enough to share it for other people who may run into similar issues.

Also, you should probably be very careful with what you post here in terms of quotes from wherever this originated. Someone may (justifiably) be very angry to find their correspondence floating around on the internet.
