Hey guys~~~ c: So im fairly new to programming and ive never really understood it until a day ago and its so bloody exciting! I love trying to figure things out! xD Ive been hyper for the past few days. and Im trying to do a text based RPG/Dating SIM. And I havent learned all of C++ yet! So maybe theres something That I dont know about that could help me with my problem. But!~!!
I have multiple Class Files.
Player Class
Enemy Class
Scenes Class - Then the sub classes for this. (shrine, school, park, forest etc)
o u o What I wanted to know was....... Is it normal to have your main source file cluttered with #include headers? xD Cause Im gonna end up doing so to include the functions involved in each sub class.
EX:
#include shrine
#include school
#include forest
#include market
....etc
//standard namespaces and headings here
int main()
{
/// blah blah
}
etc
Theres gonna be so many in my main source file. It might end up takin 20-30 lines by the time Im done.
The reason im doing this is because.
each scene is going to have its own activities and it would require its own functions, so I had to make different classes for each scene.
being a text RPG and not 3D game using a game engine. o u o I cant exactly write out code that can just move to another level(scene) its gonna be through calling functions with said text inside.
Advice?
ALSO! I don't have any friends who are into programming! c: So if anyone wants to chat it up every now and then id love to add you on a messenger or contact via email! o u o I generally suck at conversation and am very random! So if you have little tolerance Im probably not a great person to talk to!
^ I dunno if thats even allowed to be asked here
