My apologies for having disappeared for the past two days--I was exhausted after the competition, and furthermore wanted to take Monday as a day of rest.

Congratulations to all of my fellow competitors who managed to submit an entry--whether complete or not. Getting something done is an achievement in and of itself, I feel!

The competition was a wonderful experience. My thanks to my fellow competitors, for making this a supportive, friendly experience; and to those who started, ran and hosted this competition, for the fact that there was a competition at all! happy.png

I'm rather behind on journal-reading, I'm afraid, but I'll hopefully be looking into at least some of the huge pile that I have sitting in tabs beside this one... ^^:

I'll likely create a post-mortem journal entry of my own at some stage, but I may leave that until the results are released--I feel that the feedback from the judges may provide insights that I miss (as was the case last year, as I recall).

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

My time in the competition ended in failure. All my fault, I failed to give up one of my more detrimental lifestyle choices for even just a week. So I pulled out on the Saturday, letting my team down. And I'm sorry to anyone else who cared.

I'd still like to finish something, as it was a pretty solid engine I built for it. So if I do I'll continue the journal I had from that point.

Also, I'll hang around the site this time, I wanna do journals for my other projects. Going oldschool solo again, so will be making interesting things I hope.

That's perfectly fine, you attempted and even though you didn't quite cross the finish line, you still helped to make the competition feel lively and that's what i most enjoy about this week!

Glad to hear you'll be joining us! smile.png

Was totally looking forward to your entry. Bummer!
Best of luck rectifying that lifestyle :)
