So I had to learn TypeScript for work and to make it interesting I decided to learn writing a little game. Enjoy! http://ide.chasco.info/workspace/ascii/drive.html

So is TypeScript > Javascript or TypeScript == Javascript?

TypeScript is a superset of JavaScript that can be compiled into JavaScript. It's sort of similar to how C with Classes was a superset of C that could be compiled into C.

I know. But if one's productivity is increased by using it, then it's a fair question.

Well, it would have been a fair question if you had actually put the word "productivity" in your post. In any case, I've found that for prototyping and initial development as a single developer it doesn't make that much of a difference, but it makes maintenance, longer term and team development easier.
