Hi guys,

I want to know that from where I can get freeware games to put on my website like angry birds, candy crush saga, subway surf etc etc, so that people can come to my website and play them free online, without any copyright issue?

I would say, the Internet would be a good resource to find such things.

This forum is about programming games rather than a "free game download" area.

If you want to code those games yourself, you're welcome to join. If you want to hire people to make them for you, you can try the classifieds forum (but you need a bundle of cash probably). If you don't want to hire people either, I think this forum will not be of much use.

Also be aware that all the games you listed there are NOT "freeware games"... they might be free-to-play, but they are NOT opensource, NOT freeware, and most probably NOT for sale.

These are mobile AAA games, developed by rather big mobile development studios. They are put on the App stores by these studios because the Studio can make a lot of money from Ads and in-app purchases. To attract a similar move for your own website, you will have to make sure a) you have an audience, thus a lot of people that frequent your website AND are ready to fork out cash inside these games, OR do not mind the game being littered with ads, and b) you need to make the store attractive to the studio.... -> 30/70 split you/studio and stuff like that.

Now, if you don't care about THESE games, but rather listed them to say "casual games" or "mobile like games", then you still came, as Alberth put it above, most probably to the wrong forum.

A lot of the users here develop games. Some might develop freeware or opensource games. Maybe you should rephrase your question to specifically target them.

And make sure you are very specific in what you are looking for and what you provide, or do not provide in return (for example "no ads in games, no in app purchases, no royalities paid per play session" and stuff like that). Not all people are ready to hand over their work to you for you to make a living of it (I am just guessing here that your page has ads, at least for paying server space) while not getting anything monetary in return. Some would kill to have their game in front of a large audience, and don't care to give away their game for free (given your website can provide this large audience).

This frequently asked question does not belong in the game programming forum. Moving.

Andrew, I think you should look at other game aggregator sites, and see what games they have. Then find out who developed those games. Then contact those developers and inquire about permission to host the games on your site.
