Again with the crazy business, in the town I'm living in. I say where do people work for free, really.

Here's to insanity. Well I find my self injured stuck in dead end town surrounded by red necks ice addict who are allowed to suck up wealth fare and I get sent to a job that wants me to move big people carrying buss's back about 5 meters to wash and then move them forward again I'm not even licensed to drive, refusing a job is instant cut off and on top of that they want me to clean 6 buss's clean the shed in 2 hours. I did a trial run and it took 2 hours and 45 minutes with sweet dripping of me. the sweet things ok it like a work out but the free 45 minutes and its only paying $17 per hour come one. really. and there is more they want me to use news papers for the windows it works but there is paper falling allover the place that adds time the hose connections broken and has been like it for a while no replacing, I told the guy I'm not doing any free work. Gave me a funny look.

this is in Australia South Australia. I plane on just stopping when my 2 hours are up.

Plus my other part time job I buy the fuel and give like 0.7 of a hour 2 times a week and free whipper snipping(brush cutting)but this one is for the community football club.

The only thing that changes throughout time is just our clothing.

It's not just one its all who turn a blind eye to thy crime that allow this. angry.png angry.png angry.png

Basically:

It is against the law to drive a car or ride a motorcycle on a public street or in a public space if you do not have a licence. (This includes driving in car parks and on private property that the public has access to.) You could be fined or for really serious offences be imprisoned for up to twelve months. It is also an offence for anyone to employ you or give you permission to drive or ride if you do not have a licence. This includes employers, parents and guardians.

To be blunt - go consult a legal aid lawyer. "The Adelaide office has specialist social security advisers who can provide help and advice about Centrelink matters."

You shouldn't be expected to move vehicles unlicensed and without proper training. Get legal advice if you think you're being forced to do something illegal.

As for the work itself, if you were able to complete the task in 2 hours and 45 minutes the first time you ever did it it's probably perfectly reasonable to expect that you'll be able to do it in two hours with a little practice and experience; it's very likely they have that time-frame in mind because previous workers have been able to achieve it. You should be paid properly for the time you have worked (again, seek legal advice if that isn't the case), but it's absolutely reasonable to expect you to get faster (within reasonable limits) on subsequent shifts.

I've cleaned (multiple, large) windows with newspaper before. If it's "falling all over the place" that's a flaw in your own technique that you can avoid with practice.
