Hi Game Devs,

My name is Bashar, and I'm the founder of a new community portfolio site for game development called Skirmish.

We launched Skirmish in August last year in close beta, and opened for public couple of months after.

We're building a place where all talents in game industry can come and show their work, be it programmer, designer, artist, composer, animator, voice actor, or anything else in the game industry.

Jacob Minkoff, a lead designer on Uncharted 2 had a nice quote in one of his talks saying "You need an online portfolio". I listened to it while I was building the site, and it only made me realize more the importance of having such community. A site that allows you first to build a portfolio, and second, to have that portfolio displayed alongside others in the same industry. Giving you extra reach, and also allowing you to connect with others and build stronger communities.
