I am looking forward to improve my AI knowledge.I got recommended to read Game AI pro book.

I look into it and realized it has two versions out of which first one is available for free and another which came last year is paid.

So my question is if Game AI pro 2 is revision of first one or it contains completely new information? Shall I read both versions or reading latest one will do?

They're completely separate books. Like the AI Game Programming Wisdom books, each one contains a different collection of tips and techniques.
