Where to find Articles?
Hi, I´m learning Direct3D from a book but the mathematical discussions in it are not very complete. Can somebody recommend me a good source of information where I can learn some concepts such as projection matrices or the view matrix in a proper way? And no, I´m not lazy, I´ve been looking with Google and I found a couple of sites, but maybe you can tell me about an even better page. Thanks!
As far as web articles is concerned, you can try the "Articles & Resources" area here on gamedev.net. Or try www.gamasutra.com (free registration), which is the web site for Game Developer Magazine. There''s a couple of books that maybe helpful: "Computer Graphics: Principles and Practice, Second Edition" (Foley et al.), and "Real-Time Rendering." There''s a web site for the latter:

Ok, thanks for the advice! I´m afraid I cannot buy the books since the only bookstore that brings them from USA is not working. You know, the devaluation. But I will check Gamasutra, thanks!
As for the books, you might try a library. The Foley book has been around for a decade, and is sort of a standard. Even smaller libraries *might* have a copy, I think, although I don''t know what the library situation is like in Argentina.

I wanted to buy Foley´s book six months ago, but I didn´t know any graphical API back then. The book was $92. Now that I know DDraw and some D3D the book is $126. But I will check the libraries, good point! Thanks.
You may also check www.bookfinder.com, which locates used books online. I found two used copies of the Foley book for $44US today. Plus obviously shipping to Argentina, but still it is a bit cheaper than the new price of $75US).

There are two series of articles on 3d math at flipcode as well
Building a 3D portal http://www.flipcode.com/portal/
3D Geometry Primer http://www.flipcode.com/geometry/

Thanks a lot people! I checked the flipcode article and seemed to be very interesting, I will read it today. I´ve also visited www.bookfinder.com , but they only accept credit cards, which are not available nowadays here, but hey! one of my father´s friends lives in Washington and there´s a chance I can ask him for the book. Thanks for all the help!
