I''ve created 4 building modelsand I want to create a town using these 4 buildings. I think repeating them with some colour change does not work well and I don''t want to create 100 building models for the town. So how do I create a town that look like a town instead of looking like repeatation. Thanks in advance.

You don''t need to make 100 buildings, but you should make more then 4. Try 10 or 15. Also, make them different heights with different roofs. That way when they''re bunched together, you''ll be able to tell one building apart from another and it''ll give it that random look.

You could also try to make layered buildings. Have a set of sprites for the sides of the buildings, make them out of different materials like brick, straw, mud, etc. Then have a set of sprites for windows (normal/closed, open, broken). And another set of sprites for roofs. (flat, a-frame, metal, composition, etc.) If you randomly mix the 3 sets, you should get quite a few different combinations. Although you might want to manualy mix them and save them out so you don''t get odd combinations (mud sides, metal roof, broken glass window)
