How do you set up an FTP, so that people can get downloads from your site?

This is a question you should ask your ISP.

Just slap the files on a server and link to them from a web page.

The users browser should recognise .zip .pdf .htm etc. and sort things out appropriatly.

You use something like Geocities found over at http://www.geocities.com

If you care about her/him, you''''ll listen
If you love her/him, you''''ll heal his/her wounds
If you like her/him, you''''ll do all of the above, and help her/him in need

A person who cares is a person who never speaks
Yes, just: this is very easy, if your ''users'' can view and download webpages, its just the same for any other type of file, ie. You already know how to do this!
Just like this
(if you have made a page before)
Sorry, my last post didn''t work. Do I just have to make an A HREF link to the file if its on the server? BTW, I''m on Angelfire, so I can upload the file onto the server.

Yep, just make a normal link to the file like you would an html page.
