MD2 and OpenGL commands

I would like to know hot to use special opengl commands stored in md2 files but I have no idea how. Could anybody help me ?

I think that the only purpose the glcommand element in the md2 has is for optimization with triangle fans or strips (ie: if the field is 0 then use fans and if 1 use strips). There really isn''t any true importance for it; you can use either and it should work right.

There are 2 different tutorials on nehe.gamedev.net on loading md2 models you should look at. Another tut is at www.gametutorials.com.
That's just my understanding; I could be wrong.
