Programming Oppurtunities
im a sophmore in high school.
Anyway. We have a Community College that teaches computer programming. I was curious how far a Associates Degree can take you in the programming world?
Do you really need a frickin' masters in Computer Science to get have decent programming career??
And please dont preach about trying hard in high school, because i am. So there.

If you really enjoy programming, getting a masters would be fun! Anyway, most professional game companies look for people with Bachelor's Degrees. If you look at the JOB OPPROTUNITIES at
blizzard's web site. They have some good tips on becomming a lead programmer or junior programmer. Check it out.

I guess it depends on what you have in mind.
If you want to program HTML pages and simple GUI programs I guess you could go from high school. But if you like program more sophisticated programs like simulators or Quake where you need heavy math, physics and how to design good algorithms, I definitely think that at least a B.A will be required.
Well that’s just my opinion.
