PLEASE STOP ASKING HOW TO MAKE MUSIC/SOUND IN OPENGL! There've been 4 threads on this in the last month. I would have thought the name "OpenGL" would give you some hint as to the answer.

OGL = OpenGL = Open Graphics L = Open Graphics Library!
Graphics = visual, not sound.
So, use FMOD(www.fmod.org), BASS, OpenAL, DirectX, or something else for your sound.

Note: I consider threads on OpenAL okay... Dunno why, it just sounds like a good idea. Of course, people seem to have gone a bit far with the whole thing with a few of the music threads that I''ve shut down or deleted over the past few days (the whole MP3 thread in particular)... But hey, if people can''t keep the audio discussion limited to OpenAL, I''ll just start locking any and all audio-related threads, and keep this STRICTLY OPENGL. Are we all clear on this? Woohoo, now, back to coding.

Just be careful to remove the paint afterwards with an antistatic cloth.

Asking newbies to stop asking stupid question won't help. The ones that do a little research before posting something won't ask about sound here and the others that do not know what google is will continue to post such questions here. The only solution is just not to answer to such questions, so that they move down quickly. Even saying that the question is OT is not very useful, since it'll be keeping the thread on top of the list.
So I think _this_ thread should be "stop answering OT questions" instead of "stop asking OT question". Most people that ask OT question don't read FAQs and don't use google and don't search the forums before posting as I mentioned above.
