We've finally finished the first demo of an RPG we're working on and would be thrilled if you fellow game developers would spare some time to download it and give us some feedback. (we == MXF Entertainment) As far as we have tested it runs pretty stable (excluding the in-game map editor), but our computers are nearly identical so we can't get much variety in the testing. Oh, and there is some character interaction in the demo, so it does have some meat to it. Hi...just wanted to let you know I downloaded the demo and thought it was great! You guys did a really good job, especially with the music. According to the debug file, my fps was 85. I have a PIII 700 w/ a 3D-Prophet (geForce).

Wow, that''s quite the rockin system you''ve got there! I''m sure it could get WAY more fps on your computador, but it caps out at the monitor refresh rate. Thanks for the feedback!

It ran pretty slow on my P166, with 24MB of RAM. It was a cool game! I can tell it''s going to be another good RPG. Just one question... are you adding hardware support? My Voodoo2 could speed things up. Good job!

I''ve been planning on making 3d accelleration an option. This would be great if I could get it worked out because it would allow for lighting and alpha blitting, too. We''ll just have to wait and see.

I love it. The music totally rocks! Looking forward to playing it. BTW, if you don''t mind me asking, how did you make the music? With what kind of software? Did you use trackers or something else, thanks

We used ACID and Techno eJay. They both allow you to mix hundreds of sounds (wavs) together to make music that can be saved as an mp3. The programs cost, oh, 35 bucks and are very easy to use.
