Could someone give me a simple DirectX code so that I can test to see if installed the SDK correctly?

If i''m not mistaken, there are a number of sample code files that are part of the sdk you can compile. (last version of dx I worked with was 6) I currently don''t have it installed but do a search for any *.cpp files.

... Also, use the SDK help files, they have lots and lots of information, samples, step-by-step tutorials etc.

(Especially DX 7.0a, always use the latest especially when starting out)
