Looking for video game sound effects

I design small shareware games, and I need high quality sound effects for video games. Anyone know of a site, or a disc I could buy?
There is one problem with this, they could be the best quality in the world but chances are the timing will not be in sync with your game and it will make it feel lagged...
I think there arn't many "game sound effect" libraries because of this reason.

Best bet, find an engineer/designer willing to work for credits.
Theres tons of talent out there to tap, ya just need to ask in a forum like this, usually.
