I've always been the "engineering" type of person- trying to figure out how things work, and figure out how to make them work better.
I started in computer science in college, but had heard that all the jobs would be outsourced in a few years, so switched to bioengineering.
I figured bioengieering would be neat- a combination of programming/ making cool things, as well as helping people. I graduated with a degree in bioengineering, but realized that you need a masters or doctorates to do more of the interesting things, as well as most weren't getting to do 'fun things.
So I went back into computer science, and have been programming useful games and applications. I started with C++ and Java, but have been doing web development for a while, and have gotten into using actionscript 3 more than C++ or java these days.
Currently working on a few flash games and android games after work!
