Hi to all guys i am not good in physics and trigonometric I tried to do a projectile system.My launch point is higher than target point.I know the velocity v, target_distance d, gravity g,Launch_height_y y0.I added a link that shows the equation.I tried my own but not solved the equation.Please some one help me.Thanks in advance. d = 30,v = 22 , g = 9.8 ,y0 = 2 I wants to find the theta(angle)

Hi to all, I tried to do cannon projectiles for a game.I know the destination point where the cannon should land and also have a option of selecting the speed it travels say from 80 Kph to 100 Kph.I need to know the angle.How can i find the angle (theta) for the projectile .MY Launching position is higher than the landing position.Please help me fix this.Thanks in Advance ---Rajesh---

HI to all, I am trying to created Decal system for my FPS Shooter Game.I tried like putting a plane,applying texture to it and positioned it at the point of contact.But it is ok only in flat surface its not good in round surface and uneven surface.Any one please help me to understand the proper Decal Mechanism involved in shooting game.
