14 November 2012 - 05:23 AM

Autodesk University is a conference and exhibition held every year in Las Vegas where design and entertainment professionals from around the world attend classes, keynotes, product demonstrations, exhibits, and networking events.
But did you know that on the Monday prior to AU starting, there is a developer conference running? the ADN M&E conference at AU will be held for the second time in Las Vegas on November 26th and is free to attend. While I cannot go into much details about the morning session as some confidential information will be presented there, you can find the event agenda here and recommend that you register to this FREE event whether you come or not to AU. People from Dreamworks, ILM, Pixar, NVidia will present API related work on the latest technologies from Autodesk as well as many Autodesk Maya and 3ds Max developers coming. More information on the AU site or on the Autodesk AREA

API wishlist surveys for Autodesk products

28 June 2012 - 01:34 AM

Our annual API wishlist surveys are now live:

Autodesk® Maya® - http://www.zoomerang.../WEB22FY5JJ4YYS
Autodesk® 3ds Studio Max® - http://www.zoomerang.../WEB22FY5KP4ZPD

Please do take the time to provide us with your input: it’s one of the most direct ways to influence the direction of the Autodesk products you customize or for which you develop applications. Our various Engineering teams take this feedback very seriously when prioritizing the APIs to expose over the coming releases of our software. And if you (optionally) provide your email address in the survey, I’ll send you a copy of the results once they’ve been compiled.

The surveys will remain open until July 25th, 2012. Thanks in advance for your feedback!
