Word game problem

Hi everyone,

I have created a word game(in persian) that in this game player has a 6x6 table with random chars on each cells(this random chars are weighted ).In Farsi(فارسی) language we have a lots of meaningful 2 and 3 character words so with weighted random chars in table player can find lots of 2 and 3 char word but bigger word appear rarely in table.


The problem is that what method I must use to put bigger word in the table??

Hi ,

I want to know how can i get pixel color form rendertarget or drawingsurface in silverlight, in fact is it possible ??

In silverlight rendertarget and texture2d have't GetData Method.

also i try to write pixel data of drawingsurface element to a WriteableBitmap but all pixels are 0.



Strategic Terrain

Hi every one,

I want to create a simple 3D strategic game with my own engine now ,I want to know what techniques are exist for creating terrain and witch of those have the best performance and quality for STRATEGIC games!!

I should mention that I will create my engine with SlimDx with Direct3D 11 thus i can use the performance of tessellation.

Any idea will help me!
