Born during the winter of disconntent in the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, South Wales in the UK. I survived childhood and the 80's without too much dammage, during the decade of the Yuppie I discovered a magical device. A friend of my parents had an Atari 2600, it was love at first sight.
A year later after much pleading about how it would improve my school work and other such things, I was rewarded with a Commodore 64. My formitave years were spent playing classics like Dizzy, Head Over Heals and others. But whilst I loved the games I was never able to make the games I wanted to, I was only 8.
I then progressed to the Commodore Amiga A500+ whilst playing classics like Supper Cars 2, Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge 2, The Secret Of Monkey Island and others. I actually got somewhere using the Amiga language of Amos.
Finally in 1994 I got an my first PC an SX25 with a mighty 4Mb of RAM and a 320Mb Hard Drive. It was on this machine I got my fist C/C++ compiler Borland C++ 4.5, soon with the help of some tutorials on the web I was able to start coding on my new machine. I soon discovered ModeX 320x200 graphics and what you can do in a 64k page space. Soon University Beckoned, where I studied Software Engineering and amid the Coffee, in the mornings and Alcohol in the evenings I moved to Visual Studio and got to grips with DirectX 5.
So on an early summer morning with a very bad hangover I shook hands with the dean as he gave me my degree.
I now work for a major Uk based games developer and have got over 10 titles to my name. The first platform I worked on was the PS2 and I've worked on the original Xbox aswell as PS3, Xbox360 and of cource the trusty PC.
