well. thank you all my friends.

 

can you suggest some profiler program that works well with c# code as i work with it as unity script right now. im searching for best free one. i found redgate that looked sophisticated but not free. and prof it and some other ones. i searched alittle in internet and stackoverflow and i found many people use timers like timestap and stopwatch as their timer performance analizer. maybe its not the best way but maybe a simple fast way.

Personally with directx I always liked the SDK docs and examples.  Supplement with web resources... not for everyone I guess, but I learned alot with those three things.

well. scripting for doom3 is very specefic for forum like gamedev and i think its hard to find an answer for that. instead best place for finding you answer is id dev net website :

but in general when you want to generalize AI for a character first of all you have to make an state machine for it. states are like IDLE SEARCHING ATTACKING and ... in each of these states AI BOT behave different and in conditions like player is in distance less than certain value go to state attack form idle and... there are alot in internet about that. first of all i think you have to learn about game it concepts and after that start special script like doom3.

well. we have many different design patterns for different kinds of programs but i think MVC is not most suitable one for making games.

 

MVC basically has made for making website and web applications that has a very routine coding. in MVC you simply seperate view from model and controller. view is just something that user can see and model is for classes that has entities and interact with database and controllers is logic of your site and the connection of different parts. controller and models can have some sub systems but in the end the architecture is limited to them.

 

games most of time dont have same routine and have different algorithms and systems from each other because a new game  has to have new feeling. most of game designs architectures are made by exprience and coding so much and certainly the tool you working on. working with an engine line unity is much different form coding opengl from basic.

 

but the most simple pattern design that has been introduced is component design. certainly i think you know what layers mean in proggraming. so first of all you have to find systems of you game and every system has some subsystems to perform the main system and... after that you have to seperate these sytems by finde a good subject for them and in that time you choose a class for them but still make a design pattern for game depends on proggramers and software engineer of the team
