#5176385 Need Help Getting Python-made Games Online?

Posted by on 27 August 2014 - 03:25 AM

Hi maxamillion, you can consider several solutions. For example, you could build standalone executables by using programs like PyInstaller, cx_Freeze... If you are specifically interested in browser games, Panda3D offers a browser plugin which allows you to play your game into a browser.

#4917347 Best Python 3d library?

Posted by on 28 February 2012 - 03:52 AM

Hi, afaik Panda3D doesn't support Python 3.x, but it works with Python 2.x, for a "modern" value of x. :) Have you tried launching the application using the ppython (instead of python) command from commandline?

#4889741 What are the benefits and disadvantages of using Game Maker for 2D game dev...

Posted by on 02 December 2011 - 05:59 AM

Why isn't it a great program? It is a tool, it can be a great program if the game you've to develop isn't limited by it, or it may an obstacle if it is limiting you. So, it depends on your game and its relations with the tool constraints. Anyway, competitors are Scirra Construct and Torque 2D afaik. Anyway, you can also consider using 2D middlewares (SDL, pygame and the like) in order to code your game without using external tools.

I am also more productive at night, but I don't think that it's mainly a physical matter (indeed, I'm more tired), in my case it's because I have no interruptions in that time slot.
