Don't you hate it when you do some very last minute changes before publishing at you find out you just introduced some ugly crashing bugs?
When using C++.NET DLLs with pure .NET applications make sure the bitness (32 vs 64) matches up. You may have to force the .NET application to run under 32 or 64 bit instead of "any cpu".
Somehow I must've been lucky all the years with VS 2003. Never had any problems exporting and re-importing classes with STL parameters from DLLs. That completely fell apart after switching to VS 2008. It really hurt to remove std::string etc. from method arguments and replace with const char*. Yuck!
