Apocalyptic environments also mean you can do anything you want.

I also don't like how modern 3D RTSs are virtually devoid of trees. The tree count significantly goes down in 3D.

Just use GLEW so there's no difference between 2 and 3. What features do you want anyway? Deferred rendering?

Blender uses OpenGL 1.4, the earliest version to support shaders. If you want to support 2007 computers.

That is very disappointing. I guess I'll have to find some other programmer use for a 5TB external hard drive.
