Ninja Cat and Zombie Dinosaurs - crowdfunding for PowerPack, 35% backed up

02 December 2013 - 07:05 AM

No, it's not on Kickstarter ;) I've started crowdfunding on big extension to Ninja Cat on polish portal Wspieram.to (loose translation: iBackUp.it), and so far collected 35% from 23 people (it's a small project). The project finishes on saturday. If you want to chime in and get PowerPack, it's still possible.

Btw do you recognise the logo? I've asked here on GD.net for feedback to its earlier incarnations, and you guys really helped with that (it's mentioned in the credits).

Here's trailer to the base game:

You can learn more about game, extension, feature list, view funny film where I'm explaining why do I do it, how does it work etc. in my recent journal post.

I think it's unnecessary to repeat all those informations, so please take a look there smile.png

Ninja Cat and Zombie Dinosaurs - free web game finished

28 June 2013 - 03:47 PM

Hey guys and gals, I'd like to announce that my first indie flash / Flixel project is complete smile.png

Zombie Dinosaurs have invaded Paris! Ninja Cat needs to kill them with shurikens and katana. Type or die. Original idea, lots of action, addicting gameplay and polished execution!
Features: 5 long levels featuring well known places from Paris, 4 totally diferent dinosaurs (raptor, triceratops, pterodactyl, brachiosaur), 1 boss (T Rex), 4 powerups (health, score, shield, slow motion), 3 difficulty levels, optional stars for additional chalange, statistics. Try to build the biggest combo to score the most points. You can take screenshot from stats screen to brag before your friends on Facebook. Game can be finished and has an outro.
Remember: zombie dinosaurs make learning fun!

I've made almost whole game by myself (code, design, art) - except for music and sounds. The game has been sold at FGL (for peanuts) and is currently playable for free on internet:

It took me 9 months total, during which I've learned everything related to Flash platform from scratch. You can read the complete postmortem on my blog: http://www.koshmaar.pl/blog/ninja-cat-and-zombie-dinosaurs-postmortem/

Play, comment and rate (if you want smile.png ), feedback appreciated.

Indie studio logo feedback

25 March 2013 - 10:43 AM

Hey guys, I'm starting a lone developer indie studio (yep, another one), and after finishing a game (Ninja Cat and Zombie Dinosaurs, no you can't play it yet tongue.png ) I'm going for logo.

Below you can see two versions:

I'd love to get your feedback on the general quality of logo. Which version looks better?

I want to have rather simple and classic logo, with little special effects. My games are rather un-casual, so I don't mind using greys and other "serious" colors.

I think the symbol on right looks quite good, but the text doesn't fit it, visually and maybe also with placement. Any ideas what to change / improve? Maybe third version is the answear:

Btw, can you guess what Koshmaar means? And how does it sound in english, weird or ok?

Logo feedback - Ninja Cat and Zombie Dinosaurs

18 October 2012 - 03:44 PM

Hey guys, I'm making a flash game for internet (2d, not the typical casual), and here is first logo project in three versions, which differ mainly in font use.

I'd love to get your feedback on the general quality of logo, as well as which font combination looks best to you. Thanks!

PS as for the game, you are ninja cat, who's fighting with zombie dinosaurs ;) in a way similiar to (spoiler alert) Typing of the Dead.
