I for one have. There are huge asian grocery stores here and there across the united states (e.g. Lotte Plaza) and inside one, near where I live, has a side sushi bar that also sells the fish alone in packaged blocks. It's a lot of work, and you don't end up saving much money so you might as well just go to a restaurant.

With that said, never buy from any other place intended for it to be cooked.

As a side note, frozen pre-barbecued eel which you can even recook has an incredibly good value of around 20-to-1 or more compared to the price at a restaurant. Though it's easy to get tired of eating it.

[...] try "Temarizushi". Which is just a ball of sushi rice with some sashimi on top.

That's "nigiri". Temakizushi is the rice with contents wrapped in nori in the shape of an ice-cream cone. I for one have never had temakizushi before.

Yes, sounds like my first experience. But after a couple times it has quickly become my favorite food.

For your second time, remember that tuna tends to have the least flavor. California rolls don't have fish (except in the artificial crab meat I guess) and they're popular for first timers.

It would not hurt to email all developers in your area, regardless what their website says - usually they are out-of-date. Just make sure you supply a link to your work with lots of screenshots because it helps a great deal.

You can consider Gearbox Software's CoGS program as well.

Good luck!

It is because you want to make your dream game, because you want to break into the industry?

That was what motivated me for a few years.. and then I got hired for the Spring by a very good game company. Since then, most of my motivation is gone, but my interest is still there so these days I do it whenever I have the time.

Watching game documentaries help, like this one:
