this might be simple but how do i setup a non perspective viewing
where i can draw a 3d model but without the perspective
like in blender where you choose Orthographic
i tried to draw the x,y (z = depth) coordinates of my model in 2d view but didnt succeed
is this the correct way or am i wrong?
i know i can repeat the whole texture by using a tex coordinate like this
but is it possible to repeat a portion of a texture over an quad
i have a 256*256 texture
and i want portion 0,0,64,64 to be repeated 10 times over a quad
is it possible : D
hey i have a weird problem ive never had before
but this the first project ill do in open gl so dont start flame ^^
okay here is the problem.
ive made so i can switch from windowed to fullscreen and reverse and took use of a function called "GetSaveFileName" to open my map files.
I also made a function to reload the textures on changing from fullscreen to windowed and reverse ;)
it works great textures is loaded after the change.
now if i opens and file using "GetOpen/SaveFileName" and dialog popups
so far so good
i dont even need to load anything, aslong as the dialog shows up i cant switch to fullscreen or to windowed couse my textures wont load : /
i cant load in any textures again after using the dialog "GetSaveFileName"
plz reply if you need more explanation

i wanna make a game with quite many instances and collisions.
i used arrays before but it takes much memory and is hard to delete and change
so what about linked list can a game have many collisions with some average speed??
it will be 2d.
okay i want dev-cpp to work with the latest august sdk from ms
i got the sdk and all *.lib and *.h files
and i got the REIMP toll from mingw
now i use this command in the prompt "reimp -c filename.lib" i should get an equal
*.a file then but all i got is a DEF file : (
