How can I close it ? It looks like there is a little something at the top right corner but clicking on it does not do anything.

multiple send in one frame...

20 February 2007 - 10:09 PM

I'm doing a fast action multiplayer game. I'm using UDP. The way I am doing it is: The good: The packet size is "small" (max 500 bytes) The bad: Sometimes (10 in a second), I am sending multiple (2 to 5) packets to the same client in the same frame (max 6 players). The ugly: To get things smooth, the client is doing a loop on the receivefrom (arbitrarily 10 times each frame) Is it really good/bad/ugly to do things like that ? Do I need to delay the packets to other frames ? Thanks for any advice...
