I'm currently working on a few projects and one of which is a little game with the project title "Project PX." This journal is going to primarily focus on the OpenGL related aspects as well as the game itself. Other libraries which I use such as SDL2, libpng, freetype2 and others will almost never be mentioned.
I've very early on ran into some performance issues with lights and I haven't even implemented in the more performance required things such as shadows. My suspicion is the iterating over the point lights with the SSBO they are stored in, but my cpu usage seems to be kind of high as well. I'm unsure if I should just ignore these, continue and fix it later or try to fix it now.
