I remodeled and retextured another ship. These new ships not only look better, but have significantly less polys than the old one. Typically I can cut the number of faces to about 1/3 of what they were before. I hope there is a performance boost to match. [smile]
Here are a few enemy ships I've put together recently. I used a base layer, and applied both Dark and Light green color layers.
I've been working on an Image Archive for the Epoch Star website. Basically it's a place for me to dump pictures of ships I'm not using so I don't feel like they were a total waste of my time... so many of them... suck... so bad.

Johnny's been working with Day Dream to fine tune his texturing skills. Here is the fruits of his newly aquired skills.

I just put out v0.65.01 of Epoch Star. The new version is getting a bit large (31 MB), but I'll work to get that under control. Most of the ships I've been posting to this journal are now in the game as well as a few engine upgrades.
Enjoy [smile]

I give "Harry Potter and the Half Bloow Prince" My personal thumbs up. The ending is a bit of a downer, but I loved the book. I'll refrain from any more spoilers.[wink]
This base texture is inted to look much more organic. I think I did a decent job on it.
Any thoughts? [smile]
