I was working on a C# comic viewer for like 5 hours straight. That's GUI designing, coding, debugging.. Then I closed a hanging Visual Studio and what do I get?

Nothing.

Everything's gone. I never saved the project and now I'm sitting here with nothing. You can call me stupid, cause I am, but where is the option that projects don't build unless they're saved? Because obviously it's not on by default.

NOT SO HAPPY AT ALL. [bawling]

Um, normally it needs to at least save the source files somewhere. You may be able to find those.

Tried it, but couldn't find anything. They magically 'save' somewhere and get erased by the end of the session I guess. BTW, ironically, I found the sourcefiles that I deleted from the project in the Recycle Bin. Oh, how I wish I deleted the project myself.

Save periodically! After every checkmark you tick off, save!

SAVE MORE OFTEN, GODDAMMIT.

Computers are a Communist plot to destroy humanity. Don't trust them! They'll kill you and everyone you ever loved if they get a chance.

I should get rid of them before it's too late.

Ah if only that advise came to me just this morning. Sigh. The thing is I REALLY thought it saved automatically (that is, whenever I create a new project and add new files to it).

Well, I made up by reading a great amount of (40) Naruto Manga today. Well ain't that satisfying.. Haha.. I wasted a day.

Back to work now.

Maybe it is karma balancing things out. Someone does you a good deed and then something terrible happens.

Maybe if I kicked you in the balls the files would reappear?

Doesnt it save all the files whenever you compiled ? Or didn't you compile for all that time ?
Somedays i do that - some days i compile after every line :p
