Sad news...

Well, I'm sorry to say that I have to put my project on the back burner, since something more important has come along. [sad]

Ok, I'm not sorry at all :D I was asked by Raymond last night if I was interested in helping him on Project2, so I pinched myself and then replied "Are you serious? HELLS YEA!!!"

I think that being on the team with Raymond will help me to get more done, since I'll have someone that is actually counting on me (Since I've been talking to him I've gotten more done, so working with him should be even better.)

Any and all spare time will be put into dftEngine, but I don't think there will be any spare time (at least, I'm hoping not.) I'm going to redesign and start the coding over, since I made a few mistakes (most of my systems require the other, and this isn't how I want the engine to function.)

I'll keep you guys updated on my progress.

On a side note, I got to play around with boost::serialization. The only word I can think of to describe it is 'yuck'. The websites demos do not work at all, they say that they work with stl and don't, they don't even support weak_ptr. I think I was having the STL problem because it was a container of weak_ptrs. I'm still new to using boost, so I think I was abusing the system or something, I don't know.

Anyway, I think thats going to be one of my main focuses, building a serialization library. I've tried my hand at saving and loading data before, so I have a good start, we'll see though. First up is a GUI library.

I'll be changing the top of the journal so that it says what I'm currently working on and what I've finished (I'll be adding things as I make them, so there isn't going to be an initial list.)
