I keep coming here wanting to read about Empyrean Gate but seeing nothing. Harrumph

For some reason, dwarfie leaves it to me to talk about Empyrean Gate. I know he hates marketing, but he also said he needs to do more of it and I agree fully. In the meantime, read my journal or I'll make sure no cakes OR pies are in the game!

I spend my time DOING things on Empyrean Gate instead of talking about it.

Plus, I hate marketting something before due time. I remember what happened to my International Terrorists game after September 11th. I got so much hate mail it put me off ever touching that project again :(

I will try to add more Empyrean Gate stuff, but Archy seems to get it up on his Journal before I even get it into the wiki :P

I didn't really want to start giving updates until we were up to the stage of preliminary screenshots. Then we'd have something to show for it. But for the moment we are making whatever small progress we can given that we are both studying.

Once the design doc is broad enough to cover the aspects of the game that we deem most important we can begin working on how the design works into the technical realm. Once there I would be far more confident of our progress.

Sorry; I was too excited about the new project to hold it all in. If I had known you thought this way I could have kept mum about it for a while longer.

Im sorry if I seemed so but I wasnt actually upset. I was just kidding about. Anyway Im just interested/enjoy reading about your project when you do post about it. I will try to be more patient and check ArchWizard's journal in the future.

LOL, don't take it seriously. That goes for you too Archy. I guess I am of a more secretive nature anyway. I have been trying to keep my family uninformed of the fact that I am now attempting to finish university. Hopefully I can keep the information from them long enough so that when it comes time for my graduation, I just send them an invite.

I don't mind that the project is out now, because now I have more pressure to continue on and finish it. This is my first group project (outside of uni group projects) so it should be interesting to see how we can keep the project humming along over the internet.

At least there are strong lines of communication open, and the forums to fall back on if those other methods fail (unless Archy would get an IM of some form) :P

See its pretty selfish like of me actually. When im working on my project I like to take a break every so often and look at the projects others are working on, especially those in the same genre Im attempting for some motivation. hehe.

So when I dontsee anything its like, damn man, wheres my drugs! I want my drugs now! Im kidding. [smile]. Kind of...

P.s. But i get the need for secrecy. Its pretty cool to come boom out of nowhere and be like. sup mom im not homeless. Heres a new Lexus.
