So, today was offically my last lecture at college, all thats left is to get my arse in gear and do 3 assignents and one presentation on the first of June.

So, effectively I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee from this point on, rock the f&*k on [grin]

Don't get me wrong, I do like learning but being a programmer stuck on a software engineering course isn't as fun as you might think [grin]

In even better new, the provisional modules for next year are the ones I wanted todo, with the harder of the three, AI based, being in the first semester.

This effectively means that in the run in for my final project the two modules I'll be doing are more or less 'gimmies' for 1st [grin]

Also, found out today that the 2nd year only counts for 24% of my final degree, so the three modules I stuffed up wont matter all that much but my first and 2:1 and the first I hope to get for my final programming module should balance them out nicely anyways.

So, as long as I didn't fsck up the database report and don't fsck up the resubmission I've gotta do and the final 2 written module stuff, I should be golden for next year... 2:1 degree here I come? [grin]

In other news, I have projects... infact, one I'm kinda working on now, which unfortunately I can't talk about as the results are currently a bit 'iffy' and I refuse to put out misinformation and start aload of flame wars, however its related to my shader post the other day, I can tell you that much [smile]

Being a programmer stuck on a dead-end CompSci course is worse [razz]

The words "boring" and "irrelevant" frequently come to mind [headshake]

Meaning that your final year is 76%? Sounds like an odd weighting to me... 10/20/30/40, 40/60, 50/50 and sometimes 30/70 are the percentage splits I've seen.

Go on, admit it... a flame war on this topic would be funny [lol]

Cheers,
Jack
