I'm Victor Pellen, and I'm an indie developer. All right, that's a far stretch of the truth. I'm more of a wannabe, but I'm not afraid to admit it. At the time of writing, I'm 19 years old, and a procrastinator at heart. I'm unemployed with no diplomas of any kind, and I've spent the last few years slowly absorbing as much information as I possibly can about game development and design. It really is a fascinating subject.
I've been living in South Australia my whole life. My father is from England, and my mother's side of the family is from Greece. I speak English, and only English. I'm a Taurus, male (on the off chance that you didn't get that from my name), and I have a real passion for the design industry. I've learned enough to know that it isn't heaven on earth, but it is a remarkably interesting field, and there's nothing else I could possibly imagine devoting my life to. Well, aside from a nice lady perhaps.
I don't really intend to use this journal as much other than a place to scribble down notes and ideas, so it probably won't contain anything particularly brilliant. Never the less, if you're interested in seeing things come together, and you feel for some reason that this is the best place to do it, by all means, stick around.
I've been doing a lot of reading the past few years, and I believe I'm about ready to do something with myself. I'm most likely going to begin my first real project in the near future, so keep an eye out for that.
