New demo link is at the top.

Hopefully you all were able to run the demo and try out Level 5. Only one more level to go.

Now, Commander Awesome is a parody of Superman (although his personality is more like Captain America). Since Superman has the Fortress of Solitude it would make since that Commander Awesome has...yep, you guessed it:

The Fortress of Awesometude

And that will be the final level of the game.

Oh yeah, 4E5, I will be entering it. You see, I had several game ideas for what I was going to do after finishing Stompy, and one of them fits the requirements pretty well. All I'll say is this, the name of it is: "Someguy the Conquerer".

Yeah, the bug only happens once the robot is dead. I noticed it happened on Level 3 as well. And yes, I do have Visual C++ (2005) installed.

There has been a bug plaguing the game since the beginning that prevents bullets from dead enemies from hurting Stompy. Good to know that they are the same bug, rather than two different ones.

I asked about VC++ because I didn't include the two Debug DLLs this time, and I needed to know if it would work with someone who didn't have them. Since this is a release build of the program, I didn't think I would need to package those DLLs again.

Yes, The Fortress of Awesometude. My plan for the background is to have a constant sign in the back:

The Fortress of Awesometude
No outside food.

I'm a long time lurker in your journal. I just wanted to say, you are doing a great job and I love the art.

I played your game and I too had the bug of bullets passing through me when the robot is dead. At some points the game slowed down a bit, but that might have just been my computer.

The game does slow down with me too, although very rarely. The bigger enemies onscreen seem to slow down the game a little too.
