I'm quite happy with how the design of my contest entry, Dolorosa, is coming together. All the four elements are IMO quite strongly represented. You can give your opinion after reading descriptions of the different elements in my game here.

Mad Max, especially Mad Max 2 is quite close to the vision of how I want my game world to be. There will be a lot of vehicles, but fuel will be scarce, so you can't use them all the time. Vehicles will mostly be used by scouts, patrols and trade caravans; your tribe will move on foot and/or on carriages.

Something pretty big must have happened to Europe for it to resemble outback Australia [grin].

Skimming through your webpage, it looks like a pretty good idea. My only concern if I were developing it in respect to the competition would be if you could get it all done by the end of November. If it plays more like a strategy game than an RPG though then it's achievable (in my view).

Best of luck!

Edit: By the way, have you played the indie game Oasis? While your game idea has some significant differences (quite large ones really) it might be worth trying for some ideas.

Heh, I'm not intending to make it look exactly like Mad Max 2. ;)

Well, I'm planning to implement the most important / basic elements of gameplay first, then start working on more advanced features as long as I have time. I'm quite sure I'll have time to make at least some kind of game by the end of November.

No, I haven't. I'll take a look, thanks for the tip.
