Final Level...50% done

Ok, I'm halfway done with designing level 6. Already, this level is shaping up to be pretty tough, as it should be.

I've got a rough idea of what Commander Awesome will fight like. He will fight similar to the Level 2 boss, but he is able to shoot heat vision and various other blasts (hadoken rip-off anyone?)

I have here an early screenshot of my 4E5 entry:

What's cool about this is that I'm using C# and SDL.Net to program it. I figured it would be a good way to get use to the language.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say what it actually is[lol]

The game will be a Turn-Based Strategy game, centered around a man commanding an army to conquer Europe. The game takes place during the time of the Roman Republic, but before the Empire. You'll have to fight all of the different factions during that time.

One of the main focuses of the game is training your troops, and managing their emotions on the battlefield. They start off as inexperienced peasents who love pillaging, but you must train them to be diligent soldiers loyal to your cause.

Another cool thing about the game is that you'll have the same army throughout. That means you can't just Zerg the other guys and hope to beat the game, as you won't have much of an army by the end. However, you can recruit some new guys between battles.

And, that's all the info I have on it for now[smile]
