Ode to a dock:

Small, placid. Unmoving.
Level geometry.

I like how the water goes above the dock's side things.

The name and the logo brings to mind DOOM, FIRE, LOST TEMPLES, MORTAL PERIL, BOOBY TRAPS and LONG-FORGOTTEN CAVERNS, not walking round a beach with sunbathing chicks and beach volleyball.

And dude, the chick totally doesn't fit with the jetty thing. You have some nice art but it's totally inconsistent, which undermines the overall style.

Well, considering that you haven't seen the entirety of the game(and it is called "The Lost City of Malathedra" which implies "LOST TEMPLES" to me), perhaps it's a bit soon to go ragging on the logo.

However, I do have to agree that the art for the characters doesn't necessarily match up with the pier. I believe it's the strongly-lined pier, but the lines on the character are weak by comparison. Though, that's a semi-minor thing, in my book. I noticed it, but it wouldn't turn me off from playing a game wich such a cool title.

Thanks Drillian,

In fact you are right this story does contain all of those things the AP mentioned, I just don't splatter them all onto one screen at once ;)

That is the great thing about style, it's defined by who? The Artist =)
