Well, I decided to try drawing it anyway:


I hope you all realize what that is. It's...it's...Hand-drawn programmer art!!1!!!111!

However, for temporary sprites, they're pretty good. The collision detection with the enviroment is also working well (although it wasn't at first).

Well, next I'll probably get the insides of the buildings working, and allow the player to walk in and out of them.

BTW, are the buildings just one sprite, or are they put together with tiles?

I tried to give the player sprite the "Final Fantasy 1" look. I...um...kindof suceeded.

The buildings are one sprite, and aren't composed of tiles. That was my origional idea, but I decided to make it a seperate entity.
