Not much got done today.... actually lots got done today, just not much of it was visual, so I have nothing to show for it[grin]
I got vehicles coded up and working today, which is a good thing, because Mark and I have lots of plans for missions that have to deal with convoys and stuff, and whats a convoy without trucks? Anyways, they just drive and die right now, but they can be affected via scripting, so that gives us some cool opportunities. I'm not going to post a screen of them tonight, because they aren't that exciting right now, and I'm using old textures, so hopefully Mark will give me a new truck sprite tomorrow, and I'll show you guys a good old fashioned action packed screenshot!
So now that scripting is in place, I have to add all the triggers and reactions that we're going to need, which isn't very fun, but it is pretty rewarding after you're done and you have tons of cool things you can make happen just by editing a .txt file.
So now that the engine I'm working on is actually functional, and something I'm proud of, I'd like to name it something besides the Angels 22 Engine. I also need a name for the scripting language, but I am at a loss at the moment, so I thought I'd ask you guys if you can think of any good names, so if you can think of a good one, leave a comment!
