Well, I've been adding more and more to my tile engine, so much, that I've kindof lost track of what features I want to have. Therefore, I decided to list them:

- Layered horizontal Background scrolling (completed)
- Layered vertical Background scrolling
- Parallax Scrolling (completed)
- Horizontal and Vertical tile scrolling (completed)
- Variable sized tile maps (completed)
- Animated Tiles (technically complete, but not used yet)
- Special Tiles (In progress)
- *.level file format for holding level data (In progress)
- Tile layers (In progress)
- Entities

So, it seems there are quite a few things to do before I can start working on the actual game. But, once I'm done with it all, making the levels should be easy, but also offer me alot of freedom when making them. And after all, that was my goal all along.

I don't know if any of you play Civilization 4, but if you do, here is a little mod I made for the game.

The mod adds two new Civilizations from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. One is the Principality of Zeon, the other is the Earth Federation. Even if you've never watched Gundam, well, it's two new Civilizations.

Not sure if the mod will work with Warlords, though.
